Mine Support Products (Pty) Ltd, better known as “MSP”, has the unique distinction of being the only private company under the DCD-DORBYL Group banner. It was created through a joint venture, equal partnership, between DCD-DORBYL, a black economic empowered Group of companies and Robor (Pty) Ltd.

MSP specializes exclusively in the manufacture and supply of underground roof control systems which cater for soft and hard rock mining environments.

Its core business is founded on the unique “Rocprop” yielding roof support system, which was developed and manufactured primarily for application in the South African Gold Mining Industry. The local industry has been successfully serviced for the past decade. “Rocprop” is an Anglo American internationally registered patent, manufactured and distributed under licence by MSP.
