Venco Works was established in 1973
to provide an engineering service to Iscor Ltd. Since its inception,
Venco has evolved its activities and expertise to service diverse
spectra of industries within the South African market.

Venco Works undertakes the fabrication
and engineering of medium to heavy mechanical components of up to
50 tons, both for the new equipment and the used equipment refurbishment
markets. It remains a market leader in its field.

Skills Development and Diversity
A substantial budget has been allocated to the
implementation of upliftment programmes. Amongst others, Venco has
created a scholarship programme at the local Technikon and is actively
involved in apprenticeship training programmes. Its Adult Basic
Education and Training programmes are not restricted to its workforce,
but extend to include the local community as well. As a result of
Venco’s commitment and involvement in educational betterment
programmes, a significant component of its management staff has
come up through the Venco ranks.

New Focus
In line with the DCD-DORBYL Group’s expansion
