The company complies with the requirements of the Lloyds ISO 9002 Quality standard and adheres to international safety regulations. In order to fit in with a vessel's itinerary, work is undertaken any time of the day or night, 365 days of the year. Dorbyl Marine has undergone a successful restructuring programme during the last quarter of 2001. Dave Oakes was appointed our ship repair manager and Sean Jansen our new marketing representative. The company's new focus is not just on big projects but also on smaller floating repairs.
We have developed a specialized "Hit Squad" to handle this type of 24 hour service.

With the relocation of responsibilities we have been able to improve both our response time and quality, which are vital to the success of any shipyard. The evidence of which is seen in our present and forward workload.
Dorbyl Marine has spread their services into Walvis Bay and have successfully completed three major dry dockings.
We must thank our clients and Ship agents for their ongoing support in big and small projects and we sill continue to strive for excellence in order to meet all our clients' needs this year.
