Marine Cape Town's yard covers 8601 square metres with 7000 square metres of buildings. All work areas have overhead cranage. Three mobile cranes are available of 12, 20, 40 tons capacity.

Shop area 200 square metres. Cranage 10 ton. Repair or renewal of pipework systems in materials such as steel, stainless steel, copper, yorcalbro, cunifer and PVC. New piping can be hot or cold formed or fabricated. Pipe systems include water, oil, hydraulic and pneumatic.

Shop area 200 square metres. Cranage 10 ton. General fitting shop for all types of marine equipment overhaul and renewal. Engine and general rebuilds and overhauls, whinches, cranes, rudder and tailshafts, etc.

Quality assurance is recognised as crucial and Cape Town Marine has therefore obtained the SABS accreditation for ISO 9002.

The quality programme installed at Cape Town Marine covers management objectives, organisational structure, Q.A. policies and Q.A. procedures. It provides for the generation of full Q.C. documentation when required by the client.
