Industrial Ring Forgings

Numerous rings are manufactured for general industrial applications. These rings vary from 200mm to 4000mm in diameter and can be profile rolled should the requirement be called for.

These rings are suitable for the following applications:

  • Slewing rings
  • Riding rings for rotary kilns
  • Turntable bearings
  • Rings for towers and columns (wind power Generation)

    Various grades of material are held in stock for these requirements, including:

  • 1552
  • 4150H

    Gears Blank Forgings

    Ringrollers is proud to be associated with some of the largest gear cutting organisations worldwide. The gear blank forgings are known for their high quality. Rings of up to 4000mm in diameter not exceeding 3300kgs are regularly supplied. Common materials are held in stock.

    These include:

  • 4140
  • 4340
  • 709M40
  • 817M40
  • 826M40

    Rotary Rings

    Ringrollers has recently become involved in the manufacture of rotary rings for earthmoving equipment.

    These rings are profile rolled to tight tolerances allowing for less machining. These rings are available as either profile rolled or in the fully machined and drilled condition.
