SPECIAL PURPOSE FREIGHT WAGONS
We deliver through partnership

Container flat wagons for the conveyance of the ISO range of containers and the PX mini containers, incorporating 500 mm travel KEYSTONE centre-of-car cushioning to limit longitudinal end forces to 2G under single-ended impact conditions.

The ore/coal hopper wagon, specifically design for use on the mines. Pneumatically operated side discharge doors incorporate a fail-safe over-centre door locking mechanism. Available in volumetric capacities ranging from 25 to 60 m³, dependent on product density. Incorporating energy-efficient, low-maintenance HS steered bogies, AAR direct release air brake system and AAR M901E draft gear and coupling system.

COVERED FREIGHT WAGON

The wagons are specifically designed for corrosion resistance, light tare mass and stability which is required for operation in the hot and humid equatorial West African conditions with tight curves, steep gradients and poor track conditions.

A motor vehicle transporter capable of carrying eight vehicles. It is designed for the vehicles to be driven on along the length of the train from opposite ends for efficient simultaneous loading of top and bottom decks, enabling 400 vehicles to be loaded in less than three hours on a 50-wagon train.

SPECIAL PURPOSE TANK WAGONS:

A high-pressure anhydrous ammonia frameless tank wagon. All longitudinal and circumferential seams are fully non-destructively tested prior to stress-relieving and pressure testing of the tank barrel. Our product range incorporates 30 different tank wagons for the conveyance of anhydrous ammonia, butadiene, propane, acids, edible oils, fuel oils, treacle or any other liquid commodity.

The three pot bulk "powder" wagons, for the conveyance of cement, lime and fly ash, which are capable of pneumatically discharging six tons of cement per minute at 200 kPa from the three vessels simultaneously. This wagon has a capacity of 51 m³.

A jet fuel tank wagon of the frameless type with a capacity of 73 000 l and a tare of 27 000 kg. The full-penetration, submerged, arc-welded, longitudinal and circumferential seams are fully NDT tested prior to stress-relieving and pressure testing. Stainless steel bottom-operated internal valve prevents accidental discharge in the event of a derailment.
