are a simple solution for flat roofs, which involve large openings in the outer wall of the building that allow water to flow from the edge of the roof through downspouts installed directly below them. The downspouts ensure that water does not damage the walls. This may be the most efficient drain for flat roofs, since scuppers are easy to maintain and don't tend to clog (provided the opening is wide enough).If your flat roof has a slope, it is often recommended to install gutters to collect and move water away from the commercial structure. The gutters are usually located directly next to and below the roof edge to capture as much water as possible.
